Spring Zone Summits

Ever been in a different city every weekend of the month? While some of you may be able to answer this question with a "Yes" most people my age would answer with a "No". But every Saturday from January 25th - February 22nd, a zone summit took place in Region II. For those of you who don't know what a zone summit is, it's a one day event filled with fellowship and workshops on how to be better students, leaders, and professionals. The Region II Membership Zone worked hard to make sure that each Zone Coordinator had what they need...Read More

E-Week at Cale Elementary

On Friday, February 21, 2014, I went to volunteer at Cale Elementary as usual. This time however, I was more than just simply helping the kids understand their math or reading assignments. In honor of Engineer's Week I decided to teach the kids about engineering! I know when I was in 3rd grade I had NO IDEA what an engineer was. Spring 2014

So my spring semester starts this upcoming Monday! At first I wasn't looking forward to going back to school (because lets be honest who is?). Imagine my surprise when I ran into one of the 1st grade teachers at my elementary...Read More

New Year Resolutions

But is that not a resolution? Every year we all age a year. We go through various experiences - some anticipated some not. But as we go through yet another year, we should all be one year closer to the goals we've had in mind for our lives. Now I won't go into specific details of my resolutions because some are very personal to me and some are not wise...Read More

Happy Holidays!

Whoa haven't I been busy?! My last post was Thanksgiving! So much has happened since then. Final exams were a doozy. One of my best friends graduated Cum Laude with her B.S. In Biomedical Engineering from VCU. And I managed a 3.3 GPA my first semester of grad school! *woot woot*. Christmas came along and it was a blessed one. Seeing the smiles on my parents' face was priceless :). Not to mention that  I was having some slight technical difficulties with my site...still trying to work out all the kinks with that. I'll be posting a New Years post...Read More
