So on Saturday I went to Richmond, VA for a STEM outreach event hosted by the Richmond Professional chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers at Virginia Union University (all the outreach events be in Richmond!). It was great! It was nice interacting with the community and telling students and their parents more about STEM and engineering specifically at VCU. What was also nice was that I was reunited with members of my undergrad chapter NSBE @ VCU. Being a former President it’s so heartwarming to see them continue to do great things. It makes me feel accomplished that I set some sort of precedent for the part they’re currently on. Below you can see some photos from the event!
