STEM Explosion

For the entire month of June I've been blessed with the opportunity to help my alma mater (VCU) make a difference within the Richmond community. The School of Engineering held the Discocvery Camp, a week long engineering camp for middle school children, where students came in and learned about different aspects of engineering. My role in this "explosion" was to prepare the materials the kids would be working with and then help the students understand the concepts of what they were creating. Happy Holidays!

Whoa haven't I been busy?! My last post was Thanksgiving! So much has happened since then. Final exams were a doozy. One of my best friends graduated Cum Laude with her B.S. In Biomedical Engineering from VCU. And I managed a 3.3 GPA my first semester of grad school! *woot woot*. Christmas came along and it was a blessed one. Seeing the smiles on my parents' face was priceless :). Not to mention that  I was having some slight technical difficulties with my site...still trying to work out all the kinks with that.
